Hello list,

I have problems to relogin after Hot Desking the session with removing the
smartcard and insert it again.

When using Gnome as GUI, a white screen appears on the monitor with the
following output:
Enter password to unlock; select icon to lock.
Name: jan
Password:
Validating login...
And nothing happens.

When using CDE as GUI, after the user inserts the smartcard, the CDE dialog
appears to unlocking the locked screen with the users' password, but no
password will be accept and nothing happens.

Here are some lines of the Sun Ray Server log, after removing the smartcard,
is it right, that utauthd destroys the user?

Aug 7 01:25:30 picasso utauthd: [ID 901740 user.info] Worker2 NOTICE:

When the user reinserts the card, following messages appears in the log:

Aug 7 01:27:09 picasso utauthd: [ID 915946 user.info] Worker2 NOTICE:

Aug 7 01:27:12 picasso utauthd: [ID 927710 user.info] SessionManager0

In the system log I find at this time the line (it is a German system):

Aug 7 01:20:12 picasso xlock[15300]: [ID 112702 auth.error] pam_smartcard:
Unexpected error from SCF_Session_getTerminal: Unbekannter Terminalname
(unknown terminal name)

System is running Solaris 10 on SPARC with SRSS 3.1 and 120879-04.

What can I do, to solve this problem?

Thanks,
Jan
