Hi,

I'm evaluating a Sunray setup (running on Solaris10/x86/SRSS 3.1) to
access OpenVMS/Alpha servers. We're using a couple of X applications
on the VMS servers which i'd like to display using the Sunrays. The
biggest problem i'm having is with (X) fonts. I've managed to extract
the fonts from the VMS systems, and serve them up using a (linux) xfs
server. After some fiddling, i've even managed to get the Solaris xfs
server (on the Sunray server) to serve these fonts. Problem is, the
SRSS doesn't seem to use xfs. I've tried adding the fontservers to a
running Sunray session using xset +fp tcp/ip_of_xfs_server:7100 , but
this seems to crash the Sunray session (DTU shows OSD, and session
hangs).

So I was hoping someone could enlighten me how to either:
- tell SRSS to use these fonts
- reliably use a font server over tcp

Sammy
