Yes, unfortunately...they're your biggest handicap. :-( Someday I hope to have the opportunity to smack the idiot who thought it'd be a good idea to give a processor implementation the same name as a type of leased line that's commonly used for Internet connectivity. Sigh.

Yep, those are (were) cool little machines at the time. I had
several that I used when I was working on PCI-based PCMCIA
kernel drivers and controller code for Solaris/SPARC.

Yes they really are. Through the help of a former Sun employee, I have a "good" OBP image loaded into the flash on mine, and it runs quite nicely. I really like that machine. I'm sure they'd have sold very well had they been released.

made them into a full-fledged product.

I was told that it was too "close" in capabilities to the Ultra30/60 and they didn't want it to hurt their sales. I don't know if there's anything to that or not.
