You can do network printing or direct printing. If direct attached, it can be a USB printer or a parallel printer using a usb to parallel cable (careful to use the ones that we have qualified which can be found here: http://www.sun.com/io_technologies/sunray.html )

Postscript printers are usually the easiest to do from a Solaris perspective, but Solaris 10 makes non-post script printers much easier than it used to be. Network printers are also easier to manage than direct attached printers.
