Does SunRay Server support IEEE 802.1Q VLAN Tagging ?

Sun Ray Software doesn't provide any specific support for this,
but it typically doesn't need to. Support for 802.1Q VLAN Tagging
is handled within the network MAC layer, typically by switches
within the network. Sun does support a few network interfaces
that can participate directly in 802.1Q, however Sun Ray software
doesn't attempt to directly manage this aspect.

All Sun NICs can operate on VLAN configured
switches in a "single port based" VLAN
configuration (as any other end hosts on
ethernet). NIC tagging is not needed if the port
only belongs to a one port based VLAN.

VLAN tagging or multiple VLANs per NIC requires
network Hardware and Drivers that implement IEEE
802.1Q . This would typically be managed at the Solaris
level, not by Sun Ray software.

Is there some reason you are asking? Some scenario you
want to achieve?
