Hi Brad,

First of all, thanks for your reply.

Let me answer to your questions:

1. Are your users ONLY working under windows? Is so, why aren't you using
CAM mode to display the Windows logon and skip the dtgreet sessions?
Ans: Yes, all the users are using windows through Citrix program except for three(3) users were using CDE and also use Citrix. How and what is the CAM mode settings to display Windows logon and skip the dtgreet sessions ?

2. So this could be various things... Are the users actually doing work when they get reset? or is it after they remain idle? Ans: Users got reset / disconnected while they were actively working in Wndows.

3. This could easily be a network switch problem, bringing the link up and down. Or a cable that somebody is stepping on, etc. I'd look there. I'd also get patched up... there have been several patch revisions since the one that you have installed. Ans: To narrow down the cause, i had tried switching the port to other port but the problem still occurs. I also did change new cable and new SR170 but still failed. After searching sunsolve for srss 3.0 on Solaris 9 OS, i have found nothing latest to my current patch revision.

Thanks in advance.

# Yours Sincerely,
# Mohamed Ali Bin Abdullah.

Dear forum users,

I am looking for help from Sun Ray experience and expert users.

This is the problem i am encountering:
There are sixty(60) sun ray clients( sun ray 1g, 150 & 170 ) connected to two sun ray servers configured in failover group. Normally, users will see dtlogin screen and they will type username ans password. Then, automatically users will be connected to Windows TS servers through Citrix client program where they will do their basic work( accessing MS word, excel and web browser ).

Are your users ONLY working under windows? Is so, why aren't you using
CAM mode to display the Windows logon and skip the dtgreet sessions?

So this could be various things... Are the users actually doing work
when they get reset? or is it after they remain idle?

This could easily be a network switch problem, bringing the link up and
down. Or a cable that somebody is stepping on, etc. I'd look there.

I'd also get patched up... there have been several patch revisions since
the one that you have installed.
