What is dumping core? There's really only one work-around that you need to do for dtlogin.

Did you install the right (i.e. a 32 bit version) of Java for Sun Ray Server?

anyone know how to install SRSS on OpenSolaris?

after hours of d/l the cd's to install nv57 on my v20z, it was going okay
(but slow video) then i installed SRSS and every thing was great until the
reboot and it just cycles a core dump.
I must admit that i have only been an Sun Ray admin for about a year
now...and it has been great, but i dont know much about solaris error
messages.
thanks to the welcoming new NV builds i will be trying harder and harder
to use solaris as my full-time os. Currently i run win server 2k3 on every
machine i have - it provides access to everything i need except for zune
access so i keep another xp laptop around for that.
i cannot wait for the day that solaris will run all of my every day apps
as well. i very much like that i can plug in my ipod on solaris now and it
just pulls up all of the songs and i can play them from the ipod - very
nice. it's really these little things (and inneficiency of installation
and gui items that keep people away from this otherwise very good os)

we should keep aiming at the suse 10 side of things. i think their
software installer is second to none - better than windows, far better
than os x and the coolest thing since xgl.
sad thing is apple fans will think that os x pioneered xgl or "work
spaces" (as the os x users will see it - the spinning cube)....
so wish i had this on solaris...
