hi! i've configured a SRSS 3.1.1 ubuntu server with two ethernet interfaces. the one with DHCP is in a different subnet to avoid interferences with the main DHCP configured in our LAN. in fact there's only one sunray terminal connected directly to one ethernet with a crossed cable. the other ethernet have an ip from our tipical range.
the point is, when i plug a sunray terminal into our main lan range it works!! i suspect the communication is done through GDM so the dhcp server is no really needed to be in the same ip range than terminals, maybe isn't needed at all. can anyone confirm that? what other sunray features has GDM? can sunray communicate with terminals just with GMD? regards, abosch _______________________________________________ SunRay-Users mailing list [email protected] http://node1.filibeto.org/mailman/listinfo/sunray-users
