Sun Ray did win a environmental award. It was something like
infoweek/computerworld or something of that nature. Specifically given
to technology that lends it self to being eco-friendly. I'll get the
name of the award, although the URL no longer exists. I wrote the
magazine and they never responded. Can't find my email that I sent them
either.

Ok, it looks like there is no environmental research rapport about the
Sun Ray like the Sun Ray TCO reports from Forrester.
What if I can arrange for a well known Dutch University to write such a
report.
Would Sun or other members of this list be interested in sponsering such
a research assingment?
Who would be my best possible contact at Sun to address this?
Will this be Dave Douglas?
Kind Regards,
Ivar

I was thinking about buying a power clamp and doing this sort of
testing myself. If nothing comes up you may just have motivated me to
go out and do it.
I would be interested in the results.
I may be able to give you the power consumption of the server side of
a sunray installation. (router/firewall/server/switches)
But at the moment, there is no place where I can measure the clients
in production.
