Hi everyone, Has anyone been able to connect a digital camera via the USB ports on a DTU to work?
The Sun Ray server is running Solaris 10 u3 with SRSS 3.1. It looks like this version of Solaris is bundled with gphoto2 2.1.4 and gtkam 0.1.11rc1. I connect my digital camera (Nikon coolpix SQ which is supported with this version of gphoto2) to an empty DTU USB port, turn it on, and execute the following command: $ /usr/sfw/bin/gphoto2 --auto-detect (loads the camera drivers...) Model Port ---------------------------------------------------------- $ Nothing comes up so I turn on "debug" mode and get the following (below). If anyone can give me any direction, I would really appreciate it. Regards, bjp $ /usr/sfw/bin/gphoto2 --debug --auto-detect 0.000038 main(2): ALWAYS INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING LINES WHEN SENDING DEBUG MESSAGES TO THE MAILING LIST: 0.001667 main(2): gphoto2 2.1.4 0.003325 main(2): gphoto2 has been compiled with the following options: 0.005133 main(2): + /sgnome/tools/sparc-solaris/forte/SOS8/SUNWspro/bin/cc (C compiler used) 0.006625 main(2): + popt (for handling command-line parameters) 0.008112 main(2): + exif (for displaying EXIF information) 0.009593 main(2): + no cdk (for accessing configuration options) 0.011078 main(2): + no aa (for displaying live previews) 0.012562 main(2): + jpeg (for displaying live previews in JPEG format) 0.014198 main(2): + no readline (for easy navigation in the shell) 0.109730 main(2): libgphoto2 2.1.4 0.109987 main(2): libgphoto2 has been compiled with the following options: 0.110210 main(2): + /sgnome/tools/sparc-solaris/forte/SOS8/SUNWspro/bin/cc (C compiler used) 0.110546 main(2): + EXIF (for special handling of EXIF files) 0.110765 main(2): + no ltdl (working around buggy libltdl, eh? :-) 0.110984 main(2): + no /proc/meminfo (adapts cache size to memory available) 0.111222 main(2): libgphoto2_port 0.5.1 0.111459 main(2): libgphoto2_port has been compiled with the following options: 0.111630 main(2): + /sgnome/tools/sparc-solaris/forte/SOS8/SUNWspro/bin/cc (C compiler used) 0.111799 main(2): + USB (for USB cameras) 0.111974 main(2): + serial (for serial cameras) 0.112203 main(2): + no resmgr (serial port access and locking) 0.112373 main(2): + no baudboy (serial port locking) 0.112544 main(2): + no ttylock (serial port locking) 0.112715 main(2): + no lockdev (serial port locking) 0.112886 main(2): + no ltdl (working around buggy libltdl, eh? :-) 0.113365 main(2): The user has not specified both a model and a port.
