Yup. the culprit was a log file that was being created/written to by
the CAM script. I fixed the perms and now all is good.

Thanks for the help guys.

I think I already found the problem. Someone else off list mentioned
it's probably a log file permissions problem. My script does create a
log file and I don't change any permissions on it. I'm betting the
problem is that the second session (user) is unable to write to the log
so the script bombs. I'll check on it tomorrow when I go to work and
check that.

If not I'll post the script and we'll go from there.

How about sending along your CAM script?

        Hello,

I hope someone can help me with a DTU connection problem
I'm having. I configured SRSS to have non-card users in CAM mode and
card users to be non-CAM. I wrote a wrapper script that looks up the
"Other Info" field for the DTU and based on what's in there, connect to
the listed IP with either uttsc or vncviewer. The script portion seems
to work fine as long as only one DTU is connected, however, when a
second DTU tries to connect it does nothing but cycle. I can terminate
the session on the first DTU which allows the second DTU to connect and
the wrapper does it's thing. The only problem at that point is that the
first DTU now does nothing but cycle. It acts like only 1 DTU can
connect using CAM at a time.

        My config is as follows:

SRSS 3.1_21 (latest from Sun as of May 6th)
SRWC 1.1_15 (also latest from Sun)

DTUs reside on subnet A with MS DHCP server configured with
option 49 that point to the SRS.
SRS (Sol 10 Sparc) resides on subnet B with all other DHCP info
but doesn't serve IP addresses.
Other Info in DTU config is set to rdp:<IP_address> or
vnc:<IP_address> depending on where it needs to go.

I tried looking at the messages file in /var/opt/SUNWut/log and
this is what I see when the second DTU cycles:
