Hi Shivu, Seems I've got another board. SB660. http://www.touchboards.com/smart/productimages/SB660.jpg It orignially came with the USB, bluetooth module so we orderd a serial module. I attached the board by serial it to my laptop and it worked just fine.
On Solaris 10 x86, srss 3.1 with latest -06 patches I connect the board by serial to the serial port of a Sunray2. Starting the SMARTService with the -d(ebug) option shows: Using 'smartboard on port 37395 Fd_socket is 3 Client connecting...Client fd is 7 client id is 0done. Client connecting...Client fd is 8 client id is 1done. When I choose to autodetect, the native Solaris software detects the Sunray serial ports and querys them, but again removes them from the boardlist. When I connect to a specific port a link from the 'a' term to '/export/home/patrick/com1' it states, No data is being received on this port. I started the Notebook program from the Smartboard menu anyway and the red-led on the board switched to green for a couple of seconds. The attached logfile provided me with some errors. What Smartboard software and version are you using on your Terminal servers ? The SmartBoard SB560 - One with Serial interface works on Solaris (Sun Ray Server) and also on Windows accessing it via RDP using Sun Ray connector Ver 1.1/2.0 Beta. -Shivu On Jun 6, 2007, at 8:15 AM, Patrick Blaas wrote: > Hi, > > I've got one lined up here aswell.
