We would like to have SRS always mount USB devices as read-only. Users should
be able to copy information off of CD-ROMs attached to their Sun Rays, but if
they attach a CD-RW or flash drive, we do not want them to be able to write
files.
If this can be scripted to decide whether to mount r/o or r/w based on DTU,
so much the better.
Perhaps just a utaction that changes the permissions on
/tmp/SUNWut/mnt/$USER/* ? Has anyone tried something like this?
Hi Tom
This is exactly what you need to do as the drive gets mounted.
I presume you are not using CAM / Kiosk so I can't tell you exactly how to do
it.
The script we use for CAM is at:

Credit for this Script goes to Brad.
