The only keyboard locking problems I ever had was with un-patched 3.1 installs. Once patched the problem went away and so far my installations of the new GUI 4.0 are fine. However, I have seen some different behavior from the keyboard when barcode scanners were also attached to the Sun Ray - do you have any other USB devices attached? What about changing brands of keyboards? Will a Sun Type 7 not do the trick?
