Hi all,

I've just started working on setting up the follow me printing and getting it working with uttsc. Unix side everything is working well. - One note though, it would be handy to know to enter "printers: user nis" is nsswitch.conf. That took a bit of searching to find out why $HOME/.printers was not being read.

Anyway, like I said, Unix side works great. I can print text and postscript just fine. However when I run uttsc such as: uttsc -A 16 -g 1024x768 -r printer:_default -r disk:flash=/tmp/SUNWut/mnt/username terminal.server.name

the mapped printer shows up in the printer list and is marked as default, but if I try to print a test page to it, it only prints the actual postscript code.

I've tried changing the driver defined by uttsc, but it seems to make no difference. I always get postscript or pcl6 output.

This generally comes when a postscript queue is redirected and the windows fall back to default PS driver
and that mismatches with the actual printer.

Does anyone have any ideas?

It should be resolved by configuring raw print queue and the corresponding driver passed . Pls make sure to have the print driver installed on windows system and pass the same driver for uttsc , some thing like uttsc -r printer:<raw_print_queue_name>=<Print driver> <ws>

Thanks
