To recap what actually Happend:
1. as web console 3 is needed I upgraded to S10 u4.
2. the setup script upgrades ONLY those packages in the APOC
Package class that
has new versions. It does not deinstall SDM 1.0 first.

So I suspect first you need to upgrade from Solaris 10 to Solaris 10 U3
and then upgrade to 1.0.1.
Do I deinstall 1.0 and then install 1.01
or
Do I reinstall 1.01 on top of 1.0 ?
I think it will be automatically upgraded by removing the old 1.0 when
run
SDM 1.0.1 setup install scripts.
