thanks for your answer.
I carefully did an RTFM again, and finally understood that you need to modify
gdm pam configuration to get kiosk mode, that was the piece that i was
missing. So i configured gdm pam as instructed in the pam_kiosk man
page and added the pam_kiosk entries and that worked.
Did you set KIOSK_DEBUG=1 in kioskrc or are you using a pre-final
version of SRSS 4.0?
This is srss4.0 final..
You are using the gdm version from the system? Probably the mechanism
to make gdm start a custom session has changed vs the gdm delivered
with SRSS. See setGDMSessionStarter in /opt/SUNWkio/lib/initsession.
I use uttsc to connect to a xen winxp hvm running on the same server.
There is one small problem when disconnecting from the rdesktop
connection with "Abmelden" or "Trennen", uttsc is not restarted and
stays there forever without trying to make a new connection.
