I don't see anything obvious telling me the problem in /var/opt/SUNWut/log/*. I can't seem to find a logfile for uttsc. Is there one? If so, where?
Application error messages don't go there.
The SRSS server runs in a VM (guest machine). I can get to the GUI desktop from VMWare Server Console. When I try to run uttsc, I get "Error: Sun Ray Token ID cannot be determined. Sun Ray Connector can only be launched from a Sun Ray session." I get the same result when I ssh -X to the SRSS server.
The Sun Ray Windows Connector must be run from a Sun Ray Session.
I tried setting the default CAM application to dtsession. It also will not go to a login prompt. So it would seem that my problem is not necessarily uttsc, but something funny with SRSS. I would love to know where CAM logs this stuff so I can see what's going on.
dtsession is just a windowing manager. Thus my previous comment to create a new CAM app that launches a terminal.
Agreed, any more ideas on how to do this? Is there another option besides using dtsession, eg create another app that will get me to an X desktop?
