Hello,
I've VDA Sun-Ray configuration and I've change SUNWvda kiosk script for comport mapped to the remote virtual Windows XP Professional system. Does anyone have experience with this environment? I've tried to test it with the following configuration: - - - - - - - PR20 Configuration page - - - - - - - - Configuration mode ------------------------- Emulation: Olivetti Emulation selection: Temporary Draft speed: Normal LQ Type: NLQ1 Paper width: First Line Buzzer: Y Interface: RS232 Baud rate: 9600 Bit/Char: 8 Parity: None Stop bit: 1 DSR: Y DCD: Y Paper Edge detection: N Special forms: N Olivetti Menu ------------------------- Emulation: PR40+ Passbook: Y Binding: Horizontal Side: R Line buffer PR40 like: N Char generator: Olivetti Olivetti char set: E Char definition: Draft CPI: 10 Vertical resolution: 1/240 LF+CR: Y Reset with eject: Y Top margin PR40 like: Y Status request: no wait Option horizontal MSRW + MICR Standard: DIN/ISO Displacement: Standard Duplicate: Y Retry: 3 Stripe handling: Normal PNS Selection: Y PNS #3416: N PNS #3517: Y 15 CPI: N PNS #4071: N PNS #4411: N PNS #5676: N PNS #5698: Y PNS #5775: Y PNS #8099: N - - - - - - - .:EOF:. Configuration page .:EOF:. - - - - - - - - But it hasn't work. I have tried to change bit/char, baud rate, parity and stop bit configuration but it hasn't work. The cable that connects printer and Sun-Ray is right and there is data flow through this cable. When I connect directly the printer to a customer workstation with the same cable and using the same application it works fine. (My customer can adjust communication parameters) I attach output of utseriald in debug mode.
