Hi all,
we have been using SRS 3.1 in conjunction with Window Maker (csw)
successfully for quite a while. Now after upgrading (complete
reinstall) to SRS 4.x we encounter a few issues:
Logging out off a Window Maker session takes ages. We have only one
application running under Window Maker (e.g. soffice). 90% of the
soffice windows is removed instantly from the screen when we choose
Session - Exit from the Windows Maker menu. The remaining bits of this
window are removed bit by bit from the screen - this takes minutes -
before finally the window is completely withdrawn from screen and
Window Maker terminates. While it's doing this the OSD appears and shows
100F 26D
I see this on a Sun Ray 1G. On a Sun Ray 2 the Window Maker desktop is
removed immediately, but then the blue Sun Ray background appears with
the white Sun logo and blinks for the same amount of time (minutes)
until I get to the login panel again. This problem does not occur when
using Sun Java Desktop instead of Window Maker.
I have already tried patch 127553-01 but this did not solve the
problem. This is no show stopper but a bit annoying. Any idea?
Regards,
Andreas
