Hi Andreas,

We are successfully deploying SunRay 2's remotely using the Cisco
ASA5505 and ASA5510 firewalls.   A basic ASA5505 should be around
US$500, good for 25 remote users I think.  The 5510 can do much more
(maybe 200) but pricing more like US$3000+.    

VPN setup to make the SunRay work appears to be the same as any other
VPN client.     The ASA will allow you to authenticate the incoming VPN
user to LDAP (incl. Active Directory) or RADIUS.      VPN client in the
SunRay is clever enough to prompt for a username and password if this is
not setup in the GUI VPN options, so adds a little security when the VPN
is established.
