  # /opt/SUNWut/sbin/utfwadm -A -a -N all -f /opt/SUNWut/lib/firmware_gui
        All the units served by "warlock" on the 192.168.2.0
        network interface, running firmware other than version
        "GUI4.0_127553-01_2007.11.09.17.41" will be upgraded at their next 
power-on.
  # /opt/SUNWut/sbin/utfwsync -v

Hi, 

Your question is not clear , I'll try to state what is possible:

1) the Sun Ray Server must have a static IP address. 

2) The Sun Ray DTU with the default Firmware needs a DHCP IP 
address

3) The Sun Ray DTU with the GUI Firmware can have a static IP address
But it needs to be manually entered in every unit.
