with the additional "things" that I want the kiosk to show. Any
thing you put in here is
copied to the kiosk users temporary homedirectory every time a Kiosk
is regenerated.
2) Similarly, in Firefox I have enabled a kiosk plugin following most of
the steps at http://blogs.sun.com/ThinkThin/entry/kiosk_mode_browser
(very useful blog!)
I want to be able to install some Firefox themes which alter the look and
feel of the navigation buttons etc, how do I apply this to the kiosk browser
session?
Eg. I have installed Firefox 2 at /opt/firefox and want to make this a
completely
separate instance to the existing Firefox install I run locally on the machine.
I thought I could launch /opt/firefox/firefox logged on locally on the server,
install the themes and what-not and hey presto, but these don't show up
in the kiosk session.
I figured running SRSS in a zone would be a easy solution, until I found out
this was not supported
Similar to above you need to put a prepared
.mozilla/firefox directory ( template )
in /etc/opt/SUNWkio/prototypes/jds3 complete with all the
extensions and Plugins
you want the kiosk user to have.
The reason your additional stuff dont show up is because the kiosk
user has a virgin .mozilla/firefox
directory everytime the kiosk is regenerated.
