I didn't try manually configuring parameters, but th ereason why I have the GUI firmware was because I was trying it out of frustration for not getting the non-GUI FW to work! :-) > Is that what's happened? Or did you introduce a typo in the IP address for > the firmware server? Nope, I don't think there's a typo. The FW files in /opt/SUNWut/lib date from August 2007 rather than May 2008. My current line of thinking is to download the SPARC version of the SunRay patch, unpack it somewhere, then copy the firmware files to the correct place. I can't run the installer, of course, because the server-side SPARC files probably wouldn't work very well on an x86 box. :-) -- Rich Teer, SCSA, SCNA, SCSECA CEO, My Online Home Inventory URLs: http://www.rite-group.com/rich http://www.linkedin.com/in/richteer http://www.myonlinehomeinventory.com _______________________________________________ SunRay-Users mailing list [email protected] http://www.filibeto.org/mailman/listinfo/sunray-users
