I am trying to determine if I need utdevmgrd to run on my network.
I get annoying messages produced by utdevmgrd
   (daemon.warning) ...symlink Permission Denied
/tmp/SUNWut/units/IEEE802...
We disable the use of USB devices ( security policy ) via "utdevadm -d
-s usb"
I also disable utstoraged via RC scripts
The man page for utdevmgrd gives me the impression I can turn it off,
just not sure if the purpose of this daemon is restricted to ONLY
external devices on DTUs.
