These packages deliver the Japanese/French/Chinese localised
messages for SRSS programs like 'utselect' and the NSCM lgoin
greeters. These packages have never optional, they're always
installed as part of SRSS.
The 'utinstall' question affects the installation of the packages that
deliver localised content for the SRSS web admin GUI. Those
package names are SUNW{f|h|j}utw{a|h|l}. If you told 'utinstall' to
not install the localised files for the admin GUI then these are the
packages that shouldn't be present on your system. If you want
to see what's in them even though they're not installed then you
can examine their content in the SRSS download image.
The web admin GUI localisation packages are optional because
they used to be much larger than they are today, and disks used
to be much smaller. If we were starting from a clean slate then
I expect we'd choose to not ask these questions at install time
and always deliver all of the web GUI localisation packages.
