another note, I have accidentally run a Sunray 2 on +15V DC for a few days, due
to having the wrong AC-DC adapter plugged in. No noticible harm done, but who

I accidentally ran a Sunray 2 on a Gobi-8 power supply - 20v... it lasted about
30 seconds, and never fired up again.
