Hi All, Been playing around with this and need to ask the list for help, as I'm guessing it's a fairly common issue.
I have OpenOffice Impress 2.4.1 running in Solaris 10 u5 x86, and I'm using the OOo -show command line switch to launch a slideshow in full screen mode in a SunRay kiosk session. This is basically going to be for a "digital signage" application. However, all new kiosk sessions created in this way are interrupted by an uber-annoying registration pop up which must be completed manually before the slideshow runs. I've executed the unopkg shared extension solution as described here: http://user.services.openoffice.org/en/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=8768&start=0 Which removes the first run wizard alright, but doesn't get rid of the registration dialogue. This thead: http://www.oooforum.org/forum/viewtopic.phtml?p=293185 Implies that the particular extension is b0rked under OOo 2.4.1, but before I start on this I wonder if anyone else has the quick fix to my issue? :) (as to what copies of common.xcu and setup.xcu and whatever else needs to go where in $<kiosk-user-home>/.openofficeorg2.4 I guess) Once I do nail this it's going straight into a public blog - everything has gone swimmingly so far so it's maddening to be held up by something as trivial as a registration pop up! Cheers, Dave
