Hi Bob,
it looks like there really was a problem with the file/etc/pam.d/uthotdesk
after copiing as you said i uninstalled the gnome-screensaver package
again and it is still working.
That's great. I thought we automatically installed the uthotdesk pam
stack on installation on Linux, I wonder why that didn't happen for you...
the only interesting part is that i do not get the "xlock"-dialog for
unlocking the screen when inserting the card again.
I can't explain that - I don't really know how xlock works in all its
respects.
For gnome-screensaver and xscreensaver, we install pam_sunray.so on top
of its PAM stack, as "sufficient". That prevents you from seeing its
dialog after you've unlocked the session using RHA, since utauthd
conveys the information that you've already authenticated so
pam_sunray.so returns PAM_SUCCESS, bypassing the rest of the PAM stack
so that you don't have to authenticate twice.
You asked earlier if there was any way to change the RHA dialog GUI.
No, there isn't. We're planning to update its look (to be more similar
to gdm) in a future release. Probably sooner rather than later, since
the current GUI uses Motif, which isn't shipped with OpenSolaris, and we
want to get SRSS working with OpenSolaris.
