We are currently running more than 500 thin clients in our college.
Right now they are set so that students login through the regular
Dtlogin screen. Then from there they choose whether to remote (ssh)
into other linux compute servers or Solaris compute servers or startup
Citrix to a Windows compute farm. Problem with this is that you are
always logging in twice.
I'm thinking of change everything to kiosk mode and have a simple
graphical interface that allow them to choose what OS platform they want
to work in (linux, solaris or Windows). So now just have single login.
I know I can launch the citrix client client in full screen mode with no
problems. My question is how to launch a full screen remote console to
another linux or solaris login screen. The same thing that you can do
now from the DTlogin "Options->RemoteLogin". Does anyone know how to do
that from command line?
