Yes, power cycling the Sunray "fixes" the problem. Which patches did you
apply? I downloaded 127553-04, 127556-03 and 128165-01 and will apply
them shortly, although I did not find any references to my problem in
the patch descriptions. If you've got another patch I'd be happy to know
about it.

We also have the 26D problem, but not quite like you have it.

You say power cycling the SunRay fixes the problem?

Have you applied the latest SunRay patch? I did this weekend we haven't
seen any problems yet (but it's only been a few days)

Subject: [SunRay-Users] 26D problem

Hi,

I am using SRSS 4.0 on Solaris 10 u6 (SPARC). I have 2 SunRay servers
and 4 DTUs.
Initially, everything works fine and I can log in and out at will, but
after a seemingly random amount of time, the DTUs get the 26D OSD.
The messages file shows the following error:
    dtlogin[16730]: [ID 699796 user.error] sunray_get_user:pam_sm_auth:
pam_get_user returned 6 (PAM_CONV_ERR)

I have applied the svccfg -s application/graphical-login/cde-login
setprop dtlogin/args = '""' hack as described in
http://blogs.sun.com/ThinkThin/entry/sun_ray_on_opensolaris_work, but to
no avail. OK, it did help a bit as I don't have to do a utrestart on the
servers anymore - turning the DTU off and on again is now sufficient to
get the login screen back. Still, it is annoying, and does not help
getting a high level of acceptance.
Can anyone help?

Best regards,

Hans van Vooren
