Right.

Yes. (I'm not sure if the remove is necessary, but the re-apply
definitely is, to patch packages that were not installed previously.)
Unless of course, he's upgrading to a Solaris 10 update that already
has that patch builtin - but I just checked and 125719-14 is newer
than the currently released S10 10/08 - it's scheduled to be included
in the next Solaris 10 update release.
