As mentioned, this version of OS is not supported. You should upgrade
or reinstall Solaris 10 08/07 or later (the latest is 10/08) if you
want to run SRSS 4.1
Sorry - this is incorrect. It should be Solaris 10 05/08 or later.

You might find that things sort of work with 1/06, but we haven't
tested it so we can't say for certain. I suspect some things will break.
You should upgrade if only to get ZFS :)

Hi thanks all,
I have installed 10 recommended patches on my following current
release. Should I update the OS by reinstalling it?????

I think I know the answer to this, but I'm not sure, so I'll ask.
What happens if you're missing a package that a particular patch
addresses (while addressing other packages that *are* installed), and
you apply that patch, then later you add the missing package?
showrev -p would indicate that the patch has been applied, but in fact
it hasn't been applied to the package you added later, right?
Right.
Should Mudasar remove and reapply 125719-14 after adding
SUNWxorg-server
in order to get the patched deliverables that apply to that package?
Yes. (I'm not sure if the remove is necessary, but the re-apply
definitely is, to patch packages that were not installed previously.)
Unless of course, he's upgrading to a Solaris 10 update that already
has that patch builtin - but I just checked and 125719-14 is newer
than the currently released S10 10/08 - it's scheduled to be included
in the next Solaris 10 update release.
