Well,Back again. This one user had sound working for a while and has stopped again. Here is out put of the commands you gave:
sunfire3 % echo $AUDIODEV /tmp/SUNWut/dev/utaudio/4 sunfire3 % /opt/SUNWut/bin/utaudio /tmp/SUNWut/dev/utaudio/17So had him setevn AUDIODEV to what utaudio listed and test. Still no sound. Then he tried setenv LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/libc_ut.so
And still no sound? Again running on Solaris 10 spart update 6 Surnay 4.0 and patch 127553-05 installed. If I log into the same thin client(Sunray 2FS) sound works fine for me.
