Thanx Craig, but my problem is a bit bigger than that.

For instance;

When I login on a 2FS with 2 17" screens attached there are two modes of
interest supported:

(example)
4.1280x1024
*5. 2560x1024

My collegue has a 1680x1050 screen.
Upon insertion that mode will be unavailable.

The other way around this screen only supports 1280x960; so:
4.1280x960
*5 1680x1050

So again, no correct resizing.

Therefore using utxconfig to force any resolution to 1680x1050 won't only
result in some weirdness (panning on the login- and OSD-screens), but won't
fix this nasty either.
