Thanks Loeki,
What is the platform of your sunray servers (sparc or x86 ?)
We insert:
xset +dpms
xset dpms 900 1080 1200
when try xset -q it shows :
Stanby: 900 Suspend: 1080 Off: 1200
DPMS is enabled
It works properly on SPARC servers, but not on X86 servers.
On Solaris X86 box: the monitor goes blank, but the backlight
is still ON (while the backlight is turned OFF if it connect
to sparc frontend server). I still have not figured out why.
These both have Solaris 10 5/08 and SRSS 4.1 and same level of patches,
the only difference is hardware (sparc vs. x86).
Any ideas how i can fix this problem? It was working
fine with SRSS 4.0 (i.e the backlight turn off after go blank).
Thanks,
-Giao
