Hi All, I have 2 SRSS 4.1 servers that we are working with, and we are testing with Serial Port mapping on SR 270's. They are both configured exactly the same, using kiosk mode. However, the Serial Port mapping works flawlessly on A but not B. When we do a change port /query on B it hangs, but on A it shows the mapped port. Also when we try to communciate with that com port using hyperterm or putty, on A it communicates flawlessly, but on B it won't communicate at all. When I truss the utseriald child process, I can see the traffic, but I don't see any traffic on B from windows.
I think it could be the sunray windows connector not properly sending the port informaiton to windows, is this reasonable? We did a reboot of Solaris to see if that resolved it, but it didn't. Hardware T5140 SPARC servers identical Solars 10 latest release SRSS 4.1 not the latest patch SunRay Windows Connector 2.1 Windows Server 2003 R2 Enterprise Edition Both are identical, one works and one doesn't can someone lead me in the right direction. Adam
