Been trolling here for a while, now I need some help.
I've built a pair of Solaris 10 U6 Trusted Extensions servers with SRSS 4.1.
I've created a FOG per the installation guide. It appears that some functions of
the FOG work, and others don't.
What works:
1. The Sunray database replicates correctly. If I make a change in the web GUI
(localhost:1660) and do a cold restart of the Sunray service, the change
replicates onto the other server in the FOG.
2. utgstatus and utstatus -s <servername> report TN for each server's global
zone name, and UAM for the Sunray interface's config.
But, does utgstatus on each server show both itself and the other server
as well?
Try sending us the output of the following, run from each server:
% echo gstatus | /opt/SUNWut/lib/utnetpipe localhost 7010
-Bob
What doesn't work:
1. In the web GUI, I only see the localhost on the Servers page. I do not see
the other server in the FOG
2. utselect only shows the local machine, not the other machine in the FOG.
Here's the real reason for my concern: I'm thinking about modifying the
auth.props so that selectAtLogin=true, so that users can choose their home
server prior to login. I run an area small enough that standing up LDAP would be
a real pain.
