That was a fast reply!

But, does utgstatus on each server show both itself and the other server
as well?
utgstatus only shows the local server, not both in the FOG. utgstatus -s <othersername> gives the info for only <otherservername> as well. Not both servers.
Output of echo gstatus | /opt/SUNWut/lib/utnetpipe localhost 7010:
server 1 response:
numhosts 1
host server-1 lastseen 19 timeoff 0 addr b0010014 numifs 2 period 20 starttime
1240343118 TRUSTED
interface e1000g0 ip b0010014 mask ffff0000 bcast b001ffff lastpkt 19 LAN
interface e1000g1 ip c0a86e0b mask ffffff00 bcast c0a86aeff lastpkt 19
sessions 2 idles 2 load 0.9
endhosts

server 2 response:
numhosts 1
host server-2 lastseen 12 timeoff 0 addr b0010015 numifs 2 period 20 starttime
1240343097 TRUSTED
interface e1000g0 ip b0010015 mask ffff0000 bcast b001ffff lastpkt 12 LAN
interface e1000g1 ip c0a86e0c mask ffffff00 bcast c0a86aeff lastpkt 12
sessions 2 idles 2 load 0.1
endhosts

FYI: interface e1000g0 is the physical interface for the global zone. e1000g1
is the interface for SRSS. e1000g1 is connected to dedicated interconnect, not
a LAN.

Editing auth.props for selectAtLogin=true as well as remoteSelect=true allows
me to manually type the e1000g1-name to select the other server. But it's a
pain...

Been trolling here for a while, now I need some help.
I've built a pair of Solaris 10 U6 Trusted Extensions servers with SRSS 4.1. I've created a FOG per the installation guide. It appears that some functions of the FOG work, and others don't.
What works:
1. The Sunray database replicates correctly. If I make a change in the web GUI (localhost:1660) and do a cold restart of the Sunray service, the change replicates onto the other server in the FOG. 2. utgstatus and utstatus -s <servername> report TN for each server's global zone name, and UAM for the Sunray interface's config.

But, does utgstatus on each server show both itself and the other server as well?
Try sending us the output of the following, run from each server:
% echo gstatus | /opt/SUNWut/lib/utnetpipe localhost 7010

-Bob

What doesn't work: 1. In the web GUI, I only see the localhost on the Servers page. I do not see the other server in the FOG
2. utselect only shows the local machine, not the other machine in the FOG.
Here's the real reason for my concern: I'm thinking about modifying the auth.props so that selectAtLogin=true, so that users can choose their home server prior to login. I run an area small enough that standing up LDAP would be a real pain. AJ Levy
