I wonder if this is the Volo-versus-STREAMS socket problem.

Sean, did you edit your /etc/sock2path as described at
http://bugs.opensolaris.org/view_bug.do?bug_id=6799655 ?

That bug was supposed to have been fixed in build 110 but several people
have reported that they still need to use the workaround in order to get
SRSS to work.
