We use a variety of Symbol (Motorola) USB barcode scanners on the Sun Rays - they work just like your USB keyboard. Just another HID, no "mapping" of the USB port to VMware is needed. The closest thing I have to your configuration is a Distribution Center running SRSS 4.1 on ESX 3.5 using uttsc in kiosk mode pointed at a Windows 2003 VM. (wow- that was a mouth full) We have both Symbol LS-2208 and Symbol LS-3578 (both USB) and they are just plug-n-play like a keyboard is. (I've also tested this with ESXi 4.0) Cheers, Mike ---- Mike Cornelia [email protected] 888-549-5848 x118 SUM/IT Systems Your IT Experts Become a Fan on Facebook: http://bit.ly/sum-it-fb Follow our Twitter feed: http://bit.ly/sum-it _______________________________________________ SunRay-Users mailing list [email protected] http://www.filibeto.org/mailman/listinfo/sunray-users
