Hi
We use USB barcode Scanners from Opticon with our Sunrays and
have never had any problems with them.
They are seen as a Keyboard so SRWC / VMWare Broker and Citrix simply passes
it all through.

Subject: [SunRay-Users] Symbol DS6700 General Purpose Bar Code Scanner
Hello,
I need to purchase a USB scanner for our Library which is now using a Sun Ray
2 with the Sun VDI software linking back to Windows XP running in VMWARE ESX
4. I was wondering if anyone has used the Symbol DS6700 Bar Code Scanner in
a Sun Ray / Windows configuration? Also I don't believe that ESX 4 supports
USB so how does Windows see the scanner from the Sun Ray? Does anyone
recommend another USB based scanner in this configuration?
Thanks,
Bryan Gawronski
