OK, got a bit more info on this one. The disconnects (and recursive connect -> disconnect -> connect -> disconnect) and cycling appears to occur when the screen is locked.
So after the screensaver has been on for xx minutes the screen is locked and BANG! or alternativly, the user removes their card, then reinserts it and BANG!, or the user selects the menu option "lock screen" and bang!! Anyone seen this?
