Hi all, Kindly advise me on this I know that with vdi 2.0 we used to create a private network as I have quoted from a cookbook by Dirk Grobler, November 2007 (Updated March 2008) The second virtual network is private to the VMware ESX server and is not connected to a physical network. It connects the Sun VDI Software with all the virtual desktops. The Sun VDI Software, or more specifically, the Sun Ray Server component, is configured as the Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) server for this private network. The VMware VirtualCenter is also connected to this private network. This network handles the virtual desktop lookup process on behalf of the user and the Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) communication between the Sun VDI server and the virtual desktops. Is this still done when deploying desktops with vdi 3.1 Any assistance will highly be appreciated.
