Hi I recently installed SRSS 4.1 onto a Ubuntu 9.04 server. I'm trying to
get my SunRay 1Gs to use a couple cordless Logitech mice I have. I run into
the issue that moving the mouse sideways causes it to go up and down, up and
down have no effect, and the zoom control, + or -, causes it to go right.
Also I have a Razr Diamondback that doesnt work on it at all. Is there some
kind of configuration issue to get these Logitech Mice to work? Also seems
to do the same thing to a different degree just with new HP USB mice
I have used many cordless Logitech mice with Sun Ray in the past,
without issue. In fact, I'm
using one right now (M-RM67A). I use them pretty much exclusively with
my Sun Rays. They
just work. Either:
- your mice, cables, or Sun Rays are broken, or
- these mice must not be presenting standard USB Boot HID interfaces,
and they must require a special driver. I would find this very
surprising given my past success with Logitech mice.
I just had to return a new Logitech cordless mouse because it suddenly
started constantly moving the pointer
left (both on Sun Rays and a laptop, so I knew it was the mouse at fault).
What model(s) of mice are you having trouble with?
