Hello, I been playing with the final version of SRS5 and noticed significant performance issues on certain windows clients. Does anyone know the system requirements for the client? Does it need GTK+ If so, which rev? On my macbook pro booted in to windows xp I experienced severe screen artifacting and lag. I also tried two HP laptops one with an Intel integrated graphics chip that experienced the same lag as my macbook pro and another with a dedicated Nvidia GPU which experienced no issues. It was actually just as fast as a hardware client.
I don't think that the client is pushing the GPU's on these systems at all. Maybe I am not at the current rev of a required dependency? Thanks -Marc
