Anyway, the problem has been solve there was UID problem in the /var//tmp/gconfd-mdubois directory

You'll need to provide some more information if you want some help
from this list:
* Are you running SRS on Linux or Solaris?
* What versions?
* Are desktop sessions working for some users but not others? Or are
they just not working for anyone?
* Can you start a failsafe session (just an xterm) from GDM?
* What exactly does the gconf error say?
* Have a look at ~/.xsession-errors and report anything interesting.
* When a user logs in and it hangs, what processes are running for
that user? First kill all processes for a user, have them log in, and
then use top or ps (linux) to see what processes they have running.

someone else may have the opportunity to help.
