Similar issues here as well. Using metakiok with Windows 2003 TS using uttsc. 
Full-screen windows users will experience the black screen with mouse pointer 
after leaving it for the night. They will see this in the morning and the only 
fix I know of is to kill the sun ray session. We are not running the latest 
patch that came out a few days ago.

Same circumstances here - we have the kiosk running uttsc to a windows 2008 
terminal server. Every once and a while we find a Sun Ray sitting at a black 
screen with a Windows mouse pointer.
