I just installed the Windows Connector.

I had to put sudo in front of the following two commands in step "(4)
retrieve/install required libraries" of the "Installation SRWC (Windows
Connector)" section. I assume because the /tmp permissions were changed by
the debian package conversion process.

tar xzf libssl0.9.7-0.9.7g.tgz

wget
http://de.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/universe/g/gcc-3.3/libstdc++5_3.3.6-17ubuntu1_i386.deb
