Send it to me, I'll discard it for you. :-) Seriously, it looks like the DTU thinks that the screen rez is different from what it really is. What does utresadm say for that particular DTU? Have you checked the video cable and sockets for bent pins, etc.? Maybe the monitor EDID info could not be read correctly...
